Can't sign-in to my Apple Account

I can't sign in to my apple account.

I enter valid email address and password and I land on page where it ask me to enter code which should come to my phone. But phone number with the ending specified I don't have access, because I don't used it anymore. I'm using new phone number.

How I can access my apple account now?

While their online support article says for forgotten password, account recovery steps are also for a new phone number if you can’t sign in to update the number.  See "To see, add, or change your trusted phone numbers" at  Two-factor authentication for Apple Account - Apple Support and How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple Account password - Apple Support

When going thru the account recovery steps  you need to first enter in that old number to show you know it. Then when you get to the step where it says it sent a code to that old number select the option most like “didn’t get code” and it will let you continue with your current number.

Always scroll down for additional options in small blue print if the  ones showing don’t apply to/work for you.

When starting the account recovery steps the credit card is an extra option and not required. (See prior tip)

Account recovery is a two phase process once started. Phase 1 is the evaluation period, usually 24-72 hours but can be longer or shorter. This phase says Apple is evaluating your info and you’ll get an update after the posted time is over (people mistakenly think it means they’ll be able to reset the password immediately after this first phase.)

Once phase 1 is done it enters phase 2 where https://iforgot.apple.com/ will give you the final amount of days (can be weeks) you’ll wait. On that final day you’ll get a text/email, follow that text/email immediately.

If you can still sign into your account on another device you can investigate adding more ways to get a code such as multiple telephone numbers where you can receive a text or a phone call. The below is based on the section "About trusted phone numbers and trusted devices" in the article Two-factor authentication for Apple Account - Apple Support

To see, add, or change your trusted phone numbers use one of these methods:

● On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Go to Settings > your name > Sign-In & Security. Tap Two-Factor Authentication, tap Edit (above the list of trusted phone numbers), then enter your device passcode when prompted. Add or remove the number, then tap Done.

● On a Mac computer choose Apple menu  > System Settings (or System Preferences), then click your name (or Apple ID). Click Sign-In & Security, then add or remove a trusted phone number.

● Using a web browser:

1) Go to https://account.apple.com and sign in.

2) Follow Account Security options until you find one letting you change trusted numbers,

3) Click "+" to add a new number (you may be required to verify this number).

4) If you wish to remove an old number, click "-" next to the number.

It’s how the security feature two factor authentication works if you did not set up a secondary contact number or add a recovery contact or have a trusted device to get the code. This is a common security feature used by many companies she had been around and the standard for several years now.

You’ll need to figure it that old phone number. check your contacts list, emails, with friends and family , I’m she past carriers, etc.

You didn't understand. I can't sign in into account. How can I change or add phone number, if I'm not inside account.

All those article useless! They don't suit my current issue.

I repeat, I remember email address and password. But after entering those, the platform additionally asks me to enter code sent to phone number. I didn't use that phone number really long time. I don't have access to that phone number.

How can I log in?

Don't send me useless links! If you really want to help, first understand the issue.
