Apple Watch SE, iPhone 15, both updated to iOS 18.1 or whatever the most recent update is. Whenever I dictate a text on my watch, it repeats in the same message, sometimes three or four times. If I say “Coming home!” It will appear like this “Coming home!Coming home!Coming home!”
I have turned both my phone and watch off and back on again and it has not changed. Any thoughts would be helpful!

Same. I’ve noticed that if I switch from dictation to another input method before sending, the duplication doesn’t occur. But I’m using dictation because I don’t want to be tapping around on the Watch screen. So there’s that.

I just searched this same thing. My son’s watch is doing the same thing! Hopefully we get some help.
My dictation stops halfway through my message or it lags to the point that it freezes up. When it does send, it will repeat my text multiple times. I've had people ask me why i keep repeating myself.
Has anyone found a solution yet? It’s driving me nuts
