Deactivate my email id

To remove your account from Facebook, you will have to contact Facebook. Apple has no control over your Facebook account.

To deactivate the email id from your device, you will have to describe exactly what you are trying to do.

• Sign out Apple ID on device - This will require the password to the account. If you forgot it you will need to reset the password.
• Deactivate your account - You have to be signed out of all devices first, otherwise the account will be stuck on the device with no way to sign out since the account is no longer valid. You will receive a code to reactivate your account and if you do not remember this code, your account and data is gone forever. You won't be able to access any of your data while it is deactivated. This is an Apple forum and has nothing to do with Facebook. Do you mean Facetime?

If you have an iPhone or iPad:

1. Go to Settings, then tap your name.

2. Tap Sign In & Security.

3. Next to Email & Phone Numbers, tap Edit.

4. Tap the red Remove button next to the email address, then tap Delete.

5. Tap Choose Another Email Address and enter your device passcode if asked.

6. Enter the new email address, then tap Continue.
