Camera raw edits change when opening in Photoshop

When I edit in Camera Raw especially when editing and lightening an image, I then click OPEN and it goes to Photoshop, it's usually a lot lighter than I made it. Blown out in some spots. Why is this happening? I am working on an IMac version Sonoma 14.5. (I never had this problem with my old photoshop or Lightroom. Haven't tried Lightroom.) If I have to download a new version, please guide me through it.

 I am using the new Photoshop 2024 with IA. (25.12.0 release)

I'd like to add that I did a screenshot of image when I was done in camera raw and then opened in Photoshop and took another screenshot....BUT both screenshots were over exposed, but when I finished in camera raw it wasn't! I am not sure if this is a iMac issue or an Adobe app issue. I did post on adobe but no one answered.
