Toyota stereo cut-outs

With iPhone 16 Pro Max music playing on Toyota stereo cuts out. It didn’t do it with prior iPhone changes.

Why does Apple Music switch to Mono in CarPlay? Since getting the 16promax when I connect to my CarPlay the Apple Music starts playing in mono meaning it sound like it’s coming from one speaker after about five minutes of driving it switches to stereo mode and clearly coming out of all speakers. It did not do this on day one (Friday) it started doing this day two Saturday. Is it some new setting on the phone for Apple Music, is it iOS 18 glitch? Anyone else experiencing this odd switch? AUX USB only works if iphone pays for apple music Hi, I have tried looking at different threads and cant find this same issue or answers that help me. So I do not have an apple music subscription; so, I am not signed into that app and instead use Spotify. When I try to connect our car’s aux usb the screen says that there are no compatible files to play and will not let me play music from spotify. It does work with bluetooth and with iphones that do pay for apple music. I have an iphone 14 and the latest ios, plus, this also has happened with older iphone models. Our car is a 2018 toyota 4runner and the same issue occurs with other toyota cars at least past 2015. Does anyone know how to fix this without paying for apple music(a long term solution w/o using free trials and bluetooth)? Much appreciated!!

Playing Spotify in the Car via aux cable My iPhone 8 stops playing Spotify after a few songs when I'm listening in the car via a lightning/aux cable. fyi-my car doesn't have bt for music listening and I have to have the iPhone vol at max to get it lots y enough whilst playing through the car stereo. This is driving me nuts! Help!!!
