Upgrade to Catalina

URGENT...URGENT...V.URGENT...

My machine is at High Sierra (10.13.6), needed to update Opera and TEAMS, couldn't. They needed 10.15+. Attempted to download, got this message

"We could not complete your purchase. This version of macOS 10.15.6 cannot be installed on this computer."

Please help.

Use your About This Mac from the Apple Menu to see which model you have.


If your max is High Sierra (10.13.X), then I'm pretty sure you need to buy a new Mac to use Catalina. I don't know if a Virtual Machine would work.


Or perhaps there are versions of your apps between what you have and the latest versions that require 10.15 you could use? Check their version histories.
