Repeated alert saying "Disk Not Ejected Properly" on my MacBook Air.

This notification pops up on my screen REPEATEDLY while I'm using my laptop. None of the help suggestions remedy this issue.

Specifically the notification says :

Disk Not Ejected Properly

Eject "GDrive" before disconnection or turning it off.

I haven't disconnected.

I seems like lots of people have this issue. Any solutions out there?

Update your Mac:

  1. Go Here: What's new in the updates for macOS Sonoma - Apple Support
  2. Scroll to: macOS Sonoma 14.7
  3. As it Reads: This update provides important security fixes and is recommended for all users.

IMPORTANT:

Back Up First: Be certain you Create a Time Machine Backup of your Mac, so that way you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the reconfiguration.

This is apparently Google Drive. So, download it, and then run the installer, once more: https://workspace.google.com/products/drive/#download
