I want to set some alerts in my calendar further out than the default one week current offered. This was possible in earlier versions of calendar. Is there a way to do this?

Currently (iOS 18) alerts can be no more than one day ahead. But a workaround is to create a Reminder one week (or any other interval) ahead. In iOS 18 Reminders now appear in the Calendar app.
Is it possible to customize Calendar alerts for future dates?
