Podcast timer

The sleep timer doesn’t work. If I set it to 45 minutes, it will start the next podcast in the queue and is still going when I wake up.

How do I fix this weird glitch in my Podcasts App? I have a habit of listening to a certain podcast when I sleep, but recently my podcasts app has thrown me a curveball. Every time I try to listen, my podcast will simply just stop, and it’s always at the specific time stamp of 5 minutes and 42 seconds. I’ve tried listening to other episodes, checking my connection, installing a software update, everything. I still can’t listen to more than 5 minutes and 42 seconds of my podcast. What do I do?

Podcast settings keep refreshing I’ve set up the skip buttons for my apple podcasts to forward 60 seconds and rewind 10 seconds. However, they keep resetting to 30 & 15 every couple days or so. I haven't updated my iphone, and haven't even closed the app, and yet this keeps happening, forcing me to change the settings again each time. Why does this keep happening and is there a way to prevent it? It’s so annoying.
