Change the duration/length of music with a Music Remix Tool for Final Cut Pro on Mac

The Remix Tool in Adobe Premiere Pro is fantastic time-saver. It lets you import any audio file containing music or a song of any length and type in the amount of time you want it to last, and it automatically edits the music with seamless cuts to shorten or extend it to the specified length. It works like magic, you can't tell that the music has been edited. I know Final Cut Pro for Mac doesn't have this feature built-in (yet), but is there any plugins or even standalone apps that allows you to do this? Having to spend minutes every time manually lining up waveforms and cutting together music really adds up to a couple of extra hours of work every week for me.
