responsivness of podcast app is terrible after update to ios18

Even with good internet connection loading of library tooks ages and after pressing play button it doesn’t start to play at all or it starts to play with 15 or 60 seconds delay. I don’t know why. It’s very annoying always wait for everything. And I think it drains my battery very fast too. I’ll probably start to use Spotify app for podcasts even though I had it only for music until now.

How to fix Apple Podcasts app not playing or showing episodes on iPhone? Ive had some support from Apple to try to resolve this but it seems to be a wider problem. Unable to play a podcast unless downloaded, and episodes not appearing when i click on a show. iOS 17.2.1 Podcast Issues I listen to podcasts on the Apple podcast app. Ever since I updated the iOS, my podcasts will not load. Sometimes an episode starts to play a for a few seconds but it stops to load some more. Eventually I get the “try again later” message. I’m on iPhone SE second generation.
