In Finder on my Mac, my phone shows as having 336 GB of Documents and Data (even though my phone only has 256 GB storage capacity).
The phone storage screenshot shows I have 176 GB of empty storage space.
This problem is not allowing me to sync all of my music (118 GB) onto my phone.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

First thing that I would do is eject and disconnect the iPhone from the iMac.
Restart both the iMac and iPhone, then reconnect and see if the music sync's.
If not, try reducing the bit rate to (128 kbps AAC) and see if that helps.
If neither of those help, then I'm guessing that there is something in your iCloud settings that is causing the issue.
Sadly I'm not able to help much with your iCloud settings, because I backup my iPhone to my computer and do not use iCloud for storage or sharing files.
