Since IOS 18, Find my Friends crashes my phone

Hi! Ever since I updated to IOS 18 on my iPhone 13 about two weeks ago, the "Find My Friends" application has been super laggy and crashes every time I open it.

It will open and spend 1-3 seconds trying to load locations, then the screen turns black before the app crashes and takes me back to my home screen. Then, the home screen is really laggy and doesn't respond for maybe 5-10 seconds. It basically renders it unusable, which is really annoying. I've tried restarting my phone, installing IOS 18.01, and reinstalling the Find My Friends app.

What could the issue be? Is there any way I can fix it?
