These blacked out images are in the middle of clips and I can't figure out why they are blacked out. I'm using footage from my iphone. Please help!

What are the Timeline settings?
Are the clips continuous video or stills inserted somewhere within a clip?
What type of footage is involved and device that created them? (specs of clips)
