Is there an option or preference to view or hide XMP files on my Mac Studio running macOS Ventura?

I've been Using Adobe Camera Raw photo files on Mac OSX for quite some time. Previously, XMP files attached to Camera Raw file photos were hidden and not in view in a folder. After a Mac update (I'm not sure which one), the XMP files became visible along with the photo file—an unnecessary distraction when viewing and sorting.

Question: Is there an option or preference to view or hide XMP files (as deleting them will discard any photo adjustments)?

Start with the Adobe application preferences to see if there is an option there allowing you to hide the XMP files. Then contact Adobe.

Yes, but Bridge never shows XMP files. They became visible with the MacOS upgrade. I guess many others and myself can't expect a solution from Apple.

By default .xmp files are hidden in the latest Bridge and macOS in my setup. Have you tried to fiddle with Bridge > View > Show Hidden Files? With that I Bridge displays/hides .xmp.
