18.0.1 and tv remote

Since updating to iOS 18.0.1, the tv remote on the iPhone no longer works. I have rebooted both the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the 2021 Apple TV 4K (32GB), but it still does not work. It just keeps searching for the TV. Anyone else having this issue or figured out how to resolve it?

Mine does the same

The tv remote is the most regression prone consistently re-broken thing in the entire ecosystem. It’s done this in every single x.0.1 release for me.
