Missing icon in menu bar for copy/ paste up to 10 items, texts or numbers or links etc

iMac 2017 with MacOs Ventura 13.7

Until very recently, there was an icon in the Apple menu bar for copy/paste latest 10 items (meaning texts/numbers etc) showing as a list one can go select from. I used it all the time to go back to previous copied items I need to paste.

This icon is no longer available on the menu bar, can't find via the Control Centre.

How can I find it and reactivate it?

The standard MacOS has only ever supported a single clipboard.

There are third-party apps out there that enable this kind of functionality. My guess is you had previously installed one of them and it's now not running for some reason (may need an update).

There are several out there and I have no way of knowing which one you used. Ones that come to mind are Alfred, 1Clipboard, and Paste Queue, but there are doubtless others. A search for 'clipboard manager' may also help

We need to see what all is running, a report from this will not display any personal info...

Using EtreCheck - Apple Community

EtreCheck is a FREE simple little diagnostic tool to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac. It will not display any personal info. Give it Full Disk Access.

Give etrecheck Full Disk Access before running.

Thanks for Old Toad’s etrecheck instructions…
