Studio Display Microphone Cuts Out Periodically with Windows PC

I saw this same thread was posted in 2022, but there was no resolution. I have a mac for personal use and that works just fine with my studio display. I have to use a Dell with Windows for my day job, but when I connect that to my studio display the mic periodically cuts out.

The only temp fixes I have found are to 1) Disconnect and Reconnect my monitors, or 2) Leave and rejoin my calls. Both of these only work periodically.

This is incredibly annoying as it happens in the middle of work calls. I'll be fine for the first half and then suddenly no one can hear me. I have a hunch this happens after muting and then trying to unmute myself.

Has anyone found a more permanent solution??
