Studio Display Microphone Cuts Out Periodically with Windows PC

I have a new Apple Studio Display. When I hook it up to my Mac Mini, there are no issues.

However, when I hook the Studio Display up to a PC laptop that is running Windows 10 Enterprise via a Thunderbolt port, the microphone audio will invariably cut out at some point while using Microsoft Teams. Switching to the laptop microphone and then back to the Studio Display microphone in the Teams setting window will reactivate the Studio Display microphone, for a while.

Is there a solution to this? Is Apple aware? I've seen others are having this same issue.

Thanks.

I've had the Studio Display running off the PC laptop for weeks at a time and have this issue on teams video calls.

I don't think it's to do with swapping back and forth between PC and Mac.

I wish it would get fixed though as it's driving me crazy.

Regards,

Simon

I read in another post that the monitor has its own operating system and benefits from an occasional reset like an iPhone. To do this requires unplugging the monitor since there is no on/off switch. I tried this and it did seem to work for a day, but then the mic issues started again.

Here's a question, I switch my monitor between my work PC laptop and my Mac each day, do you? I wonder if that is what causes the issue. I'm not unplugging the thing everyday, plus I have to plug it into my Mac to get the correct brightness settings before switching to the PC or else its like looking at the Sun.
