I have been unable to get an answer from chat support on how my participant can redeem his cash rewards for a statement credit. All they tell me to do is have him check but if he can't do it, they can do it for me. It makes no sense to have an option to earn, but not redeem, anyone else run into this, or have a suggestion?

Participants (authorized users) have no means of paying the statement and legally are under no requirement to do so. If you and a participant have a private agreement, you’ll have to devise your own system for transfering funds.
When my wife was a participant, she would send Apple Cash to me. My son would send be funds using Zelle or Cash App. Then I would pay on the statement on their behalf.
