This is on a MacBook Air, running OS 13.7..
I load a document, open thumbnails and click on a thumbnail. Often it works fine, but periodically either the image or its thumbnail or both go white. I can paste in a replacement page, but in doing so I usually generate extra blank pages.

Find any File still sees 55 files with “Sophos” in or near their names. The won’t drag to the trash, and I get messages saying they can’t be removed. I can’t see any way to confirm that I’ve successfully managed a Safe start.
Preview remains more useless than ever.
I found a couple of files apparently relating to Preview via the secret (my) library. They were called:
“com.apple.Preview”, dated September 2020 and “com.apple.PreviewLegacySignaturesConversion”, dated November 2023. Are these of interest? (The both appear to be empty folders).

At last it has stopped !
So today my Etrecheck report appears to be there in all its glory, five or six replies up from where I am at the moment (17h20 8 October)
