ipados 18.0.1 update deleted safari bookmarks
I updated to iPadOS 18.0.1 and now all my safari bookmarks are gone. They’re not even on iCloud.com, even though safari is switched on in iCloud menu on device. What can I do?

Same thing happened to me. I went to the Safari settings, selected 'favorites', and saw two choices - 'Favorites' and 'Mozilla Firefox'. 'Favorites' had a checkmark next to it, so I selected 'Mozilla Firefox', then selected 'Favorites' so that the checkmark appeared again next to it. I quit Safari and reopened it, and the favorites appeared when I searched for a site.
