iPhone to Mac screen mirroring not working

Both my Macbook air M2 2022 and my Iphone 15 are updated to the latest OS, but screen mirroring does not work on my mac as it says "Unable to connect to iphone" and "to set up iphone mirroring, you'll need to update my iphone to the latest version of iOS"

this is meant to come with the new update, but it isn't working

Iphone Mirroring not working I have just updated my iphone 11 to IOS 18.1 and I am trying to use the Iphone mirroring on my M2 MacBook Air (2022). When I open the app on my macbook it prompts me to the two screens that say 'your iphone on your mac.' When I try to continue through the second screen the window glitches showing the first screen for a fraction of a second then does nothing and does not allow me to proceed to mirror my iphone. Both devices are up to date with updates. I checked wifi, bluetooth, airdrop, and have restarted both devices. Please let me know what I do to utilize the feature. Thank you.

I cannot mirror my iPhone 16 Pro to my MacBook Air M2 I cannot mirror my iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 18.0) to my Macbook Air M2 (macOS Sequoia V15.0). I am unsure of the issue because I could do so with my iPhone 13 Pro Max previously. Thanks :) [Re-Titled by Moderator]

What is it with Apple?

Updates don't seem to be tested thoroughly prior to release or programmers are in a different world to users.

So many issues with so many items....
