I Cann't get the option screen by pressing the Option Key while booting my Mac Pro 2010, Any solution?

I am trying to upgrade FROM OS 10.15 to 12.00

I have a 2017 Mac the OS is big sir 11.3 I would like to upgrade to 11.7.10. However, when I search for available upgrade/update, the search goes on indefinitely. Any ideas? I have tried restarting the computer. The computer has a good Wi-Fi signal.

to see any keys depressed at startup, your wired USB keyboard must be on a USB port DIRECTLY on the chassis, not on a display or other USB Hub.
