Cannot upgrade to Mac OS 12

I cannot upgrade to Mac OS 12 Big Monterey - it says I am uptodate on 11.7.10

What is the model (e.g., iMac, MacBook Air, etc) and model year that you are trying to upgrade? Both of those are available at Apple menu > About this Mac.
