numbers can't collaborate
I have a 2017 Mac book pro, i'm now getting a message saying I need a newer Mac or to use I cloud. however my iPad that is older seems to have managed fine......is this correct

You HAVE to be logged into iCloud and turn on iCloud Drive in order to collaborate!

Not ideal by any means and does this mean now I will face this with other things …. Are apple not being update friendly? It’s not even 8 years old
Are you able to run a more recent version of Numbers on your model of iPad than you can on the MPB?
If so, that may explain the collaboration problem.
