camera not working

I just bought this MacBook pro like 2 months ago and I just opened FaceTime to call someone but the camera doesn't work, I see a little green dot saying it should but the screen is just black, same thing with other apps that need the camera. I have no idea what the issue is, I have barely used the laptop since I got it there's no way it's already broken ?
