camera on macbook not working

My macbook camera is no longer working. When I try to use FaceTime, I get a message that "No Camera Available" and "To use FaceTime, connect a camera." Photo Booth camera isn't working either. I've updated my softward and tried every "fix" I could find on the Internet, but still no camera. It was working not long ago, but no more. Help!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.3

Hi ttanoos,

It seems you're having trouble with your Mac camera.

If you have an Intel-based Mac, try resetting the SMC to see if you can get your Mac to recognize the camera module:

Reset the SMC of your Mac

That might help your Mac recognize the camera.

What fixes have you tried so far? So we can avoid repeating any steps, it would be helpful to know what specifically you've tried.
