Photos ios18

Since I installed IOS18 update I find it a lot more difficult to navigate my photos especially if I’m trying find specific photos.

The old layout for photos worked just fine. I don’t see any benefit at all with the new layout.

iPadOS 18 update has ruined Photos Apple's Photos app on iPadOS17 was beautifully elegant and simple to use and organise but the iPadOS 18 version is a confusing, shambolic mess with idiotic folder categories (like People&Pets) that I don't want or need. I used to be able to see all my photos in my Library - which I keep quite streamlined for storage reasons - but now I can't seem to have that as my default view. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the 18 version look like the 17 one?

Photo app sorting In the all photos tab of the photos app how can I have the new photos at the top and scroll the page down for older photos?

Newest photos at top of screen in iOS 17 Photos Someone asked this question exactly three years ago, but the reply given did not address the question. “Hi all, Got a silly question today. How to I put the new photos in the Photos app at the top of my iPhone? In every other app, all new photos show up at the top of my screen, except in Photos. I've looked in all the places to edit Photos and I can't figure out where to change the scroll direction. Anyone know if it's possible?” Is there a solution yet? Also, when using the Search feature in Photos, newest photos are at the top, while in Albums, Recents, etc new photos are at the bottom. Is there some way to change this to be consistent?
