How do I know if my iPhone was hacked?

Earlier, I was finding a reliable site to download a reel from Instagram. I stumbled upon a website called “Instavideosave.net” and took the risk even after seeing the red flags of the said tool. After clicking the download option, it redirected me to something called “alphacell” website and it proceeded to my Messages app with a recepient number and words I did not type that includes “BYTEPLAY”. Gladly, it was not sent to that number. I immediately used the backspace key to ensure that no trace is left behind.

My question here is, am I hacked? If yes, let me know what I can do. Need anyone’s thoughts here. I would very much appreciate it.
