New watch wont stay charged

My brand new Apple Watch 10.5 won’t keep a charge more than six or seven hours. My older versions lasted more than 24 hours.

It will take 24-48 hours for the new operating system to finish it house keeping, as well as resync things it wants from the iPhone. Power cycle the Apple Watch and your iPhone (at least once, but maybe once or twice a day until the Apple Watch battery consumption returns to normal. Paired my new Series 10 Saturday, power cycled it Sunday, Power cycled it again Monday. It has been sipping power ever since. Yesterday it was at 50% when I went to bed. Charge it up, then did Sleep monitoring over night, and it was at 90% this morning.
