Bluetooth connection issues on iPhone 16

Same. The devices that worked fine on my iphone 12 can no longer keep connection with iphone 16. It seems to be a software issue as it connects once in a while but forgets how to connect again. A restart can fix it for one more time which shows the issue is on iphone's side

have had bluetooth connection issues since iphone 13. keeps dropping. this is not a pairing issue. i'm using airpods and the most recent hardware. very irritating. one would expect an expensive phone and seasoned software to work. i've been with apple since the beginning. in the last 10 years its gotten progressively crappy. i think this is my last iphone.

My new 16 pro max would not connect to my echo until I 1)reset network settings (so annoying to lose all network passwords, apple) 2)restart both devices 3)connect the echo and iPhone through a third device (my iPad) I do not know for sure if I had to reset the network settings because I tried each thing in the order of the comments in this thread. But, thank you, Broadcast Teacher. Your comment is what helped me!

the Verizon store personnel did the transfer from my 13 pro to my 16 pro max and the Bluetooth will not connect to my car it just spins. It connects to my watch but won’t connect to my car. Is there a fix yet. It sounds like others are having same problem

I think I have a similar problem connecting my iPhone 16 Pro to my Subaru Outback 2022 infotainment system with Bluetooth. The sound breaks up, then the phone disconnects and then car cannot find it. Works fine with a usb cable. The dealer’s service manager's 4 year old iPhone connected no problem.

Thank you!!!! This was exactly what I needed. The online directions for my Bluetooth speaker weren’t a lot of help, but I got it fixed. Who knew Bluetooth devices had so many modes. I thought it was just one.

Bluetooth connectivity has not been optimum for my iPhone 16 Pro. I couldn't connect to my car's Bluetooth from the phone, BUT it can connect if I attempt connection from my car to the phone. Once, my Airpods Pro 2 suddenly stopped emitting sounds even though it showed it was still connected. When I restarted my phone, my Airpods made the "disconnected" sound, which means it wasn't the Airpods' problem.

My phone also regularly sends me notifications of my Airpods being "left behind" although it's right next to me, unused.

I have been trying the recommended solutions and they do not resolve the Bluetooth connection problem for my new iPhone 16 pro. Has Apple provided any assistance? I am now using CarPlay with a usb connection. This is giving me much better audio for my auto infotainment system than I ever had with Bluetooth.

I spent my entire Sunday on the phone with Apple, they tried their same voodoo as you, told me to take it back to the AT&T store and have them replace it. They do not want to admit that it’s an iOS issue.

I have the 16 pro max and Bluetooth either never connects or does for a short period and then drops off. I have been restarting the phone every time. There is an inherent problem that is very frustrating and obviously needs to be dealt with or the phones going back! No fit for purpose!

It’s frustrating that a brand new phone does this. I never had any problems even remotely close to this issue. I would lose Bluetooth connection with all my

bluetooth products from Headphones to speakers. I apple makes this right, it’s annoying and very disappointing.

As suggested in another post, I contacted Apple support at 800-692-7753. I had tried all of the other things suggest up through network reset, so they had me do a "restore" of the software to factory settings (download took about 30 minutes via a computer). Everything is still on my phone and Bluetooth is now working.

Folks I love Apple products but this issue is affecting so many of us and there seems to be no recognition of this issue. All they have to do is say there is a problem and we are working on it. I have tried many options provided on our discussions site on my iPhone 16 Pro and nothing resolves the problem for me.

I’ve had issues using Bluetooth with my iPhone 12 when I had it. It was doing very similar things as to what my iPhone 16 pro is doing now. Like switching from my car radio to my headphones or vice versa. It’ll make it sound like the audio is almost underwater or radio quality. The only way I found to fix this is reconnecting the device. Or not switching back n forth. I have to shut off one of the devices completely for this glitch to not happen. I also have to repair a specific set of earbuds I have every time I want to use them. Very annoying this happened to my iPhone 12 when it had a version of iOS 15 as well. I’m hoping they’ll fix these issues with updates if not this is very embarrassing for apple. we’re all having these issues! Sorry this wasn’t a solution but I’m hoping it’s the explanation.

I tried the reboot did not work was reading the comments last one was 9-26-24 its 11-27-24 2 months later and apple hasn't fixed the issue .. my phone is 3 days old and has the same issue c'mon apple ...should of kept my Samsung
