I have tried just about everything I can think of but can fin absolutely no information whatsoever on how to pass a document PeMANENTLY fro my iMac to my iPad Pro.
I will be working on this document then adding it to a folder at the end of the year and adding a new blank document (Bank Register).

p.s. I do not use iCloud for any reason

NEVER MIND! Noticed afterwards that when I plug the iPad to the iMac that the icon shows on the opening page for the Drives that reside on the desktop. Only thing I now wonder is if it can shop on the desktop as a server or similar?
