I followed instruction but when tapping plus sign and then more, send later does not appear.

Problem solved. I was testing the ‘send later’ option. It was not available. I was trying to test this option by sending a message to myself. The option was not available to me. I then tried doing the exact same thing, but selected someone else (other than me) to send the greeting to. The ‘send later’ option was available. Problem solved!!
Typical Apple “send later” ONLY works on Apple devices. Ridiculous android has had this since at least 2010. What does timing a message have to do with OS. Fix it Apple!

I can no longer send delayed Messages. Was working after last update and even earlier today. Now no choice to delay send. Please advise

If you ask Apple, they will tell you it is working as intended.
All these "bug reports" are really feature requests.
Thanks to Tanushi6565 I tested the Send Now on other apple users and it is there. It doesn’t work on other devices (Android). Apple, you need to fix this.
To Iphone user, Send Later function is available. To other brand phone user, the Send Later function disappeared. As Iphone 16 user, this is a BAD experience.
It appears to depend on the recipient.
