Logic Pro session locks my Logic Pro menu bar

I have a song session that when I open the session it locks / freeze the Logic Pro menu bar on the top left and I cannot do a file save as or add a track etc. The session removes the standard mic and time and backup icons on the right and places a small orange dot. After this the file will play but I cannot use the add track or edit or file save as it's all frozen.

Normally the icons are there for my mic and backups etc- when I launch the session these go away
