My iPhone SE 2020 is constantly crashing and rebooting and it doesnt want to update to ios 18, It says error downloading software, I have the 128GB varient and i have 90GB of storage left and i have 50GB iCloud+ storage. I have restarted my phones with the pressing of the volume up and down and then holding the power button, Only lasted a few mins.
Can someone please help.

I have the same iphone and have the same issue. Although the issue was not gone when upgrading the iOS to 18 or downgrading it to 17.6.1. The phone just keeps restarting every ~3mins. I for me assume that something got broken because previously the 17.6.1 was running just fine and during the process all appes and setups are deleted.
If you want to try to get your luck with an Upgrade / Downgrade you can follow this steps:
* reset your phone
* Update / Downgrade the iOS with ITunes.
The reset is required because the backup is then really fast and the time is small enough to get the device updated.
Hopefully you have more luck with your device than I with mine
