Calendar issue iPhone 16 pro

Can anyone help please, swapped over from 15 pro to 16 pro and in my Calendar it won’t let me search for old events it shows them but when u search it shows no results, up and coming events show fine I use this for my work diary so I need to use the search on older dates to find customer contact details

Why is the calendar search on my iPhone 15 Pro not working? I have a new iPhone Pro. Straight up I noticed the search in calendar is not working. I have tried various fixes without success and even called Apple Support who also could not solve the problem. Does anyone know how to correct this? I use this feature regularly. My calendar goes back many years, and I’m always looking something up for reference. Can someone please help?

That is very annoying. Do you have a Mac? My calendar won't even load on my new iPhone 16 Pro. Causes the whole phone to freeze and restart. I can access everything on my Mac though.
