iPhone 16 photographic styles won’t work for me

Excited-upgraded to iPhone 16 Pro Max in white with 1 TB today! Running the latest released

But, when I play with the camera, I can't get photographic styles to work! I've taken many more than 4 photos (4 is supposed to be the minimum), and then gone to the camera item in settings, where Photographic Styles shows as Standard. When I click on it, it tells me to take at least 4 photos. It says to open the camera (so I take some more and come back). The other option-| click it, and it just keeps bringing me back to the screen asking me to take at least 4 photos. How do I select the 4 photos it wants me to choose? I can't get out of Standard style.

Thanks!

I have the same issue. Where can I confirm it only supports the HEIC format for photographic styles because I believe it is a bug?

I find it hard to believe that JPEG is not available, as format support is crucial.
