Has anyone been able to figure out the new Genmoji? I’ve googled how to use it but my phone doesn’t have the options that it tells me to click on. I have the 16 pro max so I should be able to do it. Kinda stinks having a brand new phone but not being able to use the new features.

I didn’t see anything about the Genmoji but I did learn I can change app colors. Thank you !
I was actually able to search it in the article you posted and found that it seems like it will be available in October when IOS 18.1 comes out.

Apparently, Genmoji is part of (or requires?) Apple Intelligence, which won't be available on the 16 Pro Max until future updates.
