What the problem is here is that this feature cannot be switched off, even when all the appropriate sliders are in the 'off' state!

I cannot really simulate the old state with the green button (… it has disappeared), but the current state DOES look like it could be a bug, or at least a design error: both state ar similar, with or without the +

I was able to work around this issue by turning on the toggle "Allow only zone positioning when SHIFT key is pressed" within the DDPM EasyArrange settings menu. I can now move windows freely within the Dell monitor without the annoying resizing issue. However, I can have it auto-resize if I hold the SHIFT key which I do like.

One of the worst feature ever. I had a hard time finding how to disable it.

Looks like this has changed a little.

It is now under System Settings > Desktop & Dock > Windows "Drag windows to menu bar to fill screen"

Upgrading OS version from 15.2 to 15.4.1 is the only thing that helped me.

This is what happens when you let I.T. types run the show instead of asking people what they want/need.

or as suggested above turn off the tiling features in Settings.
