Ever since I downloaded iOS 18, Face ID stopped recognising my face. I tried to reset my face, but now it keeps saying "Face ID Not Available" every time I try. I have tried to restart my phone, that's done nothing. I have an iPhone 14

I don't know what caused this, but as soon as I took my screen protector off, it immediately resolved the issue. The screen protector wasn't new and has been on my phone for months with no new cracks in it. The quality of the camera itself was perfect, so not sure what caused the issue.

If Face ID isn't working for you, there is most likely something wrong with your TrueDepth camera. First, look at these two articles for help. If that doesn't fix the issue, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have your camera issue diagnosed.
