iOS 17.7 is not showing on iTunes when trying to update iPhone

I’m using Windows 11 23H2. iTunes version 12.13.3.2. iPhone 12 Pro Max iOS 17.6.1.

Windows PC, iPhone and Modem restarted before trying to update.

I know iOS 17.7 is available via OTA but I would like to update iPhone to iOS 17.7 on PC for personal preference.

I only see iOS 18.0 is available on iTunes.

Is iOS 17.7 available on iTunes?

How do I choose iOS 17.7 to update iPhone 12 Pro Max on iTunes?

I have the same question. I prefer using itunes as well and the option for 17.7 is not there. Seems very odd. Even ipsw site doesn't show 17.7 available as a download to restore to using itunes. Maybe 17.7 is such a minor update that other methods don't matter. I'm still waiting for 18.1.

Yes I did and it prompts to update to iOS 18.0.

No option to choose iOS 17.7 on iTunes.

Did you click on update now? If you did, did it offer 17.7 as an alternative? If no, then update your iPhone over the air to get 17.7, if you don't want to update to iOS 18.
