"iPhone XR Slow and Bluetooth Issues After iOS 18 Upgrade Prompt

Ever since the release of the iPhone 16, my iPhone XR has been running noticeably slower. I'm currently on iOS 17.7, and I’ve received a prompt to upgrade to iOS 18. However, I've been experiencing some strange issues, like my Bluetooth randomly connecting and disconnecting, and overall, the phone has become extremely sluggish. I'm curious if anyone else is facing similar problems, especially after upgrading to iOS 18.

Since the IOS 18 update my auto connect will not work to my ear pods watch or wireless Apple car play. Also spoken content on Apple can play is bugged keeps freezing every third word or so. @apple any suggestions?
