External Mic's Inputs Is Registered In Settings But Nowhere Else

Need urgent help: I am currently trying to use a condenser microphone (Rhøde NT-1A via a audio interface (for which I use a Zoom H5) but get no Input in Logic Pro, Memos or anywhere I tried. Yet my settings register an Input from the mic via the interface, as you can see in the attached image. I can say this input is from the mic with 100% certainty as the volume bar in the settings reacts to my voice and to input volume adjustments I make to the input channel on the interface.

At this point I am out of ideas. I restarted all programs, I set the mic mode to normal and reset the NVRAM/PRAM. I even created a virtual device via the Audio-Midi-Setup (the input of which also is recognized by the settings but nowhere else).

I think that the problem is on the Mac's side and not on the external hardwares side, as the signal seems to reach the settings at least but I can't certainly exclude setup issues on the latter.

I would be very grateful for any and all help!

I am on a M1 MacBook Air, Mac OS 14.6.1
