podcast downloads not completing

Apple podcast app was deleted to clear space on iPhone. After reinstalling the app, podcast downloads are stalling at 100%. IOS 15.1 installed.

iOS 18 messed up my podcasts Upgrading my iOS always messes up my podcasts. The latest iOS 18 upgrade dropped several podcasts from my subscriptions so now I have to go back into the podcast app and re-subscribe to the podcast which has in the past meant I got all of the back podcasts that I had already heard. This issue seems to be recurrent with iPhone upgrades.

Podcasts not being removed after 24hrs Ever since updating to ios 18.4, my podcast downloads are not being removed 24 hours after being played. I have to manually remove the downloads. I have tried restarting my phone and restarting the app and nothing works. Anyone else having this issue?
