Upgrading my iOS always messes up my podcasts. The latest iOS 18 upgrade dropped several podcasts from my subscriptions so now I have to go back into the podcast app and re-subscribe to the podcast which has in the past meant I got all of the back podcasts that I had already heard. This issue seems to be recurrent with iPhone upgrades.
iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 18
Other problems:
—Updating wiped out the 100 or so podcasts in my queue
—When you try to reorder things in my queue, sometimes they just magically jump back to where they were before you moved them
—Sometimes when I start playing podcasts, it goes to the next podcast in my queue instead of resuming where I was before
—Sometimes when a podcast is over it plays a song instead of the next podcast
Total dumpster fire.
Other problems:

Unfortunately, the link to feedback is only for actual concerns about podcasts and not issues with the Podcast app. I still left my feedback there, but it says if there are any issues with the Podcast app, you need to contact AppleCare, which doesn’t make any sense when trying to report Application bugs
Sorry to hear of your issues but glad to hear I'm not the only one with disappearing podcasts. I also had all of my Reminders disappear when I upgraded to Sequoia or iOS18 or on my Apple Watch. I don't have warm and fuzzy feelings towards their programmers.
Apple doesn't read here in this user-to-user forum for feedback or suggestions. You can, however, let them know your thoughts here:
I would put feedback under iPhone as your issue is with iOS 18.

Apple explicitly tells you on the feedback page that they don't respond.
