Why is ethernet going up and down

When I try to download over the internet it is slow and the reading for what speed the information is coming down is going up and down, I had Cleanmymac do a search and it showed the ethernet was not stable see att.

How can I fix internet speed issues on my Mac mini M2 Pro? I have a 6 month old Mac Mini M2 Pro and am constantly having internet issues. It connects to my WiFi with no problem (as does my iPhone and iPad) but constantly looses internet connection. Slow download speeds on iMac I have a 2019 27 inch iMac (specs below,) and realised recently I'm not getting the download speeds I should be on it. I have a broadband connection that should go up to 350mbps, and all my other devices usually get speeds of around 150-250mbps over wifi. But my iMac never gets above 80mbps, whether on wifi or an ethernet connection via powerline adapters. Strangely, the upload speed is what it should be, at 30-40mbps. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look for that might be causing this? TIA! Specs: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019) 3.6 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 40 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 Radeon Pro Vega 48 8 GB Running Monterey 12.5.1

Very slow MacBook download speed I just bought a new MacBook Pro and the download speed is terrible. It’s on the same wifi as iPhone 13 pro, iPad Pro, and MacBook Air. They are all doing fine, but MacBook Pro is only doing 1.25 download and 5.2 uploadupload. Please help. Right now this thing barely qualifies as a door stop.

Ok then please use the speed test your isp uses. Google should bring that up for you.

Nobody recommends using Cleanmymac on here. Any problems with your internet should be sorted out with your ISP. If this is AT&T, use their Speed test
