CarPlay and iOS 17.6.1 not functioning

So here we are AGAIN CarPlay still is not working with the latest iOS update.

so the unit connects the Bluetooth but not the WiFi. My mobile device my 12 mini using 17.6.1 does not see the carpuride unit at all. After rebooting both units multiple time I might be lucky forgot to work but it’s not usually. There are no restrictions and I’ve deleted on both sides and “re-paired “ them several times to no avail.

come on Apple get your together and fix this. people spend enough money on your products myself included the company has plenty of money to get this job done so why don’t you get up off your tail end and fix the problem for people?

I have the same issue. The problem started after an automatic update, and I have IOS 17.6.1.

I have tried forgetting the phone on my 2022 F150, forgetting the radio on my phone, reconnecting, and rebooting. Nothing works.

My phone behaves like it’s always connected to CarPlay. If I take a screen shot it includes the car screen even though the radio isn’t connected. The unwillingness to address this issue will factor into an upcoming phone purchase.

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution! Please look in the right direction.

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.
