A few years ago, probably 2021-2022, Apple discontinued the Sports movie theme in iMovie, but why? I'm pretty sure it was popular with coaches and sports parents who wanted to make highlights of games. If you check iMovie's package contents, the preview video for the Sports theme is still there, but you can't find it in the theme selector.
Unfortunately, It seems the iMovie Sports Theme has been discontinued, it seemed to be popular with coaches and sports teams.
