Correct name spelling in Siri voice text

My grandson‘s name is Declan spelled DEKLEN. I always have to change it to the correct spelling when texting with voice messaging. I tried to follow instructions. Someone else posted, but I cannot find shortcuts under the Siri heading.

Expanding on what Johnathan said, the dictionary used by Siri will use the most common spellings of names and other words, with variations depending on the country/region it's set for. A name with an unusual spelling, like Cyndee, Ryeian, Mhyke, or yes, Deklan, are not going to be spelled that way in Siri and there's no way to change that. You can request such a feature in a future version of iOS via Apple's feedback pages, if you wish:

..Debbie7881..

Perhaps the solution may be to just avoid Siri for those proper nouns

& place-names where it truly cannot attempt to be useful. -As I have.

So many towns and regions of my state, have authentic names on maps

where Siri & other automatic spelling devices always fail to adopt them.

And names of persons with indigenous names, are never correct.

With some built-in systems, in PC/Mac or Device, where you can choose

to create personal dictionaries ~ those may be better for peace of mind.

At least with those, sanity; practicality, stand better chance at success.
